⁴⁸ “If we let Him alone like this, all will believe in Him. And the Romans will come and take away both our place and the nation.

⁴⁹ Then one of them, Caiaphas, who was the High Priest that same year, said to them, “You perceive nothing at all.

⁵⁰ “Nor do you consider that it is expedient for us that one Man die for the people, and that the whole nation not perish.”
